Five FRV crews have swiftly contained a house fire in Sunshine West on Thursday afternoon.
A caller to Triple Zero (000) reported seeing flames and smoke issuing from the single storey brick property at 12.24pm.
Firefighters arrived on the Alden Street scene within seven minutes, finding the back of the property was fully alight and the fire was at risk of spreading to a neighbouring house.
Firefighters worked together to contain the fire, bringing it under control at 12.50pm.
