Family escape Altona Meadows blaze

A woman and three children have had a lucky escape from a house fire in Altona Meadows this afternoon.
FRV crews were called to the Gibson Ct home about 1.45pm, following multiple Triple Zero (000) calls and arrived to find the double storey home in flames.
Firefighters atttacked the fire both internally and externally and managed to get the blaze under control by about 2.30pm.
The fire was reportedly sparked by a candle.
The occupants of the home had self evacuated.
Victoria Polce and Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene.
