Four people escape Reservoir house fire

FRV firefighters were called to a Reservoir unit fire this morning, following numerous Triple Zero (000) calls.
Crews were called to the Wilson Boulevard address just after 4am and arrived to find a brick unit in flames.
The four occupants of the home had self-evacuated.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus mounted an aggressive firefighting attack to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring properties.
The fire was declared under control within 28 minutes of the initial call.
The four occupants who self-evacuated were treated on scene by Ambulance Victoria paramedics but did not require transport to hospital.
