FRV crews respond to Reservoir house fire

FRV crews responded to a house fire in Reservoir following a call to Triple Zero (000) just after 9:30 pm on Tuesday night.

Firefighters arrived to the George Street scene in six minutes to find a single storey weatherboard house with large amounts of smoke and flames emitting from the home and immediately escalated the response.

Wearing breathing apparatus, FRV crews attacked the blaze with the incident declared under control at 10:07 pm.

A detailed search of the home was conducted and all occupants were accounted for however those evacuated were assessed by Ambulance Victoria as a precaution.

Victoria Police also assisted at the scene.
