Bentleigh house fire brought under control

Approximatley 30 FRV firefighters responded to an incident in Bentleigh on Sunday morning after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire

Crews arrived on scene within 4 minutes to find a house fully involved in fire, escalating the response

The fire was impinging on a neighbouring property and firefighters set up protection lines to prevent any fire spread, working to ensure the scene was safe

On the front lawn of the house was a live electrical wire that created a significant safety issue for fire fighters

Fortunately, there were no occupants in the home and the fire was brought under control at 07:10am

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene assisting with operations
