Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to house fire in Valentine Grove, Armadale this afternoon following several calls to Triple Zero (000) around 4pm this afternoon.
Crews arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke and flames issuing from the roof of the weatherboard house, so the response was escalated.
FRV crews donned breathing apparatus and began attacking the fire as well as preventing any fire spread to adjoining properties.
All occupants were evacuated safely, however, were assessed by Ambulance Victoria.
The fire was deemed under control by 4.56pm.
In total about 10 appliances and 30 firefighters responded.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but it will be investigated by FRV specialists.
Firefighters will remain on scene for some time, to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
