Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to a house fire in Reservoir at 11.30pm yesterday evening, following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000).

Crews arrived on scene at Boldrewood Parade within six minutes to find a single storey, brick dwelling fully involved with fire.

Wearing beathing apparatus and utilising an aerial appliance, firefighters conducted an external attack to extinguish the fire.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the incident however ten occupants, from a neighbouring property, were evacuated as a precaution. All evacuees were able to return to their homes sometime later with no injuries reported.

An advice message was issued for smoke in the area.

A total of 10 appliances and 22 firefighters attended the incident.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were on scene to support firefighting activities and power and gas companies also attended.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and Victoria Police will investigate suspicious circumstances.
