Fatal house fire in Kurunjang

A woman has died following a house fire in Kurunjang overnight.

FRV crews were called to the address in Cameron Court just after 3.15am following multiple Triple Zero (000) calls.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find a brick home engulfed in flames.

Sadly, the occupant of the home was located deceased in the property.

FRV will remain on scene through the morning to ensure all hot spots are extinguished.

The cause of the fire will be investigated.

Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police also attended.
