FRV crews arrived on scene in four minutes to find the unit fully involved in the blaze, which was quickly spreading to an adjacent house.
Firefighters worked fast to attack the fire and prevent it from spreading further into the main home.
The fire was declared under control less than 25 minutes after initial crews arrived on scene.
Fortunately, the occupants of the home had self-evacuated prior to firefighters arriving on scene and there were no injuries reported.
The exact cause of the fire is not yet known, but FRV’s fire investigators will attend the scene.
At the height of the incident there were seven firefighting appliances at the scene, supported by two additional units.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria assisted FRV at the scene.
