Firefighters extinguish Frankston boat fire

Three FRV crews responded to a boat fire near Frankston Pier on Monday night.
The call came in at 8.15pm, with the small boat fully alight when crews arrived.

Thankfully, the occupant had evacuated the boat.

Crews quickly attacked the fire from the pier, bringing the fire under control.
There was minor singeing to the pier as a result of the fire and unfortunately the boat sank.

Parks Victoria was notified of the incident.
