Firefighters tackle Reservoir blaze across several properties

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to a structure fire at 3.35am on Maclagan Crescent after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a house fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find the rear of two properties were heavily involved in flames.

The bungalow in the read of one property was also well involved, along with a shed in a neighbouring yard that was destroyed.

Crews tackled the blaze and brought the incident Under Control at 4.18am.

A total of 30 firefighters and 10 appliances responded to the incident.

Firefighters are expected to remain at the scene for several hours to fully extinguish the blaze and undertake fire duties.

FRV's Fire Investigation Unit will attend on Sunday morning to determine the cause.

All properties invovled were significantly damaged.
