Around 8.45pm on Monday 30 September, FRV was called to an incident on Kelly Street, Wodonga, after Triple Zero (000) received several calls for a large shed fire.

On arrival FRV crews found a 3-storey shed, approximately 20m x 30m, engulfed in fire.

FRV, Country Fire Authority (CFA) and New South Wales (NSW) firefighters implemented defensive firefighting strategies due to the nature of the fire and the unstable nature of the structure.

There was nobody inside the shed and no injuries.

The fire was declared under control at 11.13pm.

The shed has sustained significant damage with a large section of the roof collapsing.

FRV crews were on scene throughout the night to fully extinguish the fire and to monitor hot spots and will remain on scene today.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but will be investigated.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria attended in support of FRV operations.
