UPDATE 6.30AM
The factory fire was deemed Under Control at 5.02am.
The fire invovled a two-storey tilt construction, about 30m by 20m.
There were no occupants inside the factory at the time.
Once the incident was contained, significiant resources dedicated to the response were released as part of a demobilisation plan.
A council building surveyor was requested to attend during daylight hours.
The incident is being treated as suspicious and FRV will assist Victoria Police in their investigation.

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to a structure fire at 3.22am on Barrie Road, Tullamarine after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a factory fire.
Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find the structure fully involved with multiple exposures and the response was escalated to a third alarm.
Ambulance Victoria were also on scene.
The gas company was requested to isolate the site and the power company due to powerlines over the road.
Crews are currently working to contain the fire, which was not yet deemed under control as of 4.10am.
There were approximately 25 appliances and 80 firefighters on scene.
A community advice warning was issued for significant smoke within 2km of the scene.
Nearby residents are urged to avoid the area as it is anticipated to have major impacts on local traffic.
The council was also notified.
