Werribee shop fire

At 01:35am this morning FRV responded to a fire at a Werribee shop.

FRV crews arrived on scene within five minutes, finding the shop well alight.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus worked quickly to isolate the fire before it could spread to an adjoining business and residence.

Occupants of the residence evacuated safely.

At 02:21hrs the fire was declared under control, with the shop being extensively damaged.

CFA, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria personnel were on scene supporting FRV operations.

Victoria Police is investigating the incident.
